Be careful when heading out of town towards Greenville, GPS may send you to a dirt road that is private property."

"You couldn't get a more ideal location, with incredible views and a comfortable, clean, and well stocked home. The owners are highly responsive and kind. Located right off the golden road with lots of opportunity to see wildlife, close to some great food options (knifes edge brewery), and secluded enough to be incredibly peaceful and restoring. A beautiful long weekend away!"

"Great place if you need rest! Loudest noise I heard during the night was a plow truck. Within walking distance to food stores. Full kitchen made life easy; since I travel with a puppy. There is also nice little yard for puppy use right in back. Local dog park within walking distance as well. You can see Mt. Katahdin from right in front of property. Would stay here again for sure. Elizabeth pays attention to the little details for your comfort. "

"Nice house with lots of potential.The driveway was not adequately cleared.The shower stall downstairs is very small.The upstairs bath/shower/tub leaked copiously.So 2 of us were able to shower 1 nite only, not wanting to add to the leaking tub. The counter barstools are too tall for the counter top.I did inform the host of the above.The price quoted varied between host and VRBO site."

This is a simple rustic type place, nothing fancy, but like I said: clean, spacious, good kitchen, beds were comfy, hot water for showers. View off the deck was beautiful. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, especially helping us out when there was an unexpected snow storm that led to power outage. Brought us over buckets and flashlights and offered us to move to another property. We loved this property so much that we decided to stay on. Cannot recommend this property and Kim and Renee enough.
