"We used to take our children here years ago on riverside trips and were really pleased by our four night stay. Nice clean room with very big bed, relaxing pub, good food and a quiet location with plenty of free parking space. Staff are nice and helpful. We'll be back."

"Brilliant stay and food. We had our dog with us and they could not have been more dog friendly. We had an evening meal and it was excellent, best cheesecake ever!! All staff were friendly and helpful, could not recommend this pub enough. "

"The Bulls Head is a lovely old pub. The building has many interesting features, blended with the comfort of modern living. We had an en suite room which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pub is friendly and mainly used by people going to eat. Whilst we didn’t have dinner at the pub, the breakfast was fantastic, beautifully laid out and freshly prepared. "What a great find. I was working nearby and needed somewhere to stay. The room was lovely, everything i needed. Couldn't get the tv to work at first, i asked and they came up amd replaced the tv, fantastic service. I had a great sleep and a lovely shower in the morning. 100% recommended.."

"Nice enough staff. The pub looked like a 1970’s Benidorm recreation of a British pub with a ceiling full of beer mats. Food was ok but a little overpriced for pub grub. The outside area was filthy. The doors to the outbuildings that house the rooms were ramshackle. The rooms themselves looked like they were last decorated about 30 years ago. The TV was a 20 year old mini tv with free view that didn’t hold the signal. Neither tv or kettle had a PAT testing sticker. The bathroom was grubby...
