"When arriving, it was clear that cleanliness and maintenance were not a priority here. There was broken glass on the bedroom floor, which was hazardous and unacceptable. In addition, the lights did not turn on, making the glass only visible during the daytime. "I’ve stayed here before and it was lovely; however this time was very different. There is no one who checks you in or can troubleshoot in case you need anything. You call a number (True North)and the young lady says she will get housekeeping. Really? There is NO one there, not even an office anymore. The place is misnamed. "We had less than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls were in the room. 2 tiny bars of soap, no shampoos or any other amenities. Mattresses were only about 5" thick and were like sleeping on plywood. Pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. One of the bedspreads had a big tear on the top. No fitted sheets on the bed and the sheets that were there kept coming untucked. The place is for sale. It is like they don't care anymore."

"Our annual ladies trip turned out wonderful. The house was very clean, lots of room for the 5 of us with 6 bedrooms, Beautiful location with a very nice fire pit which was nice to sit out in the evening. The location was great, half way between Boyne City and Charlevoix - both cities were great to visit. I would highly recommend this house, plenty of dishes, cook ware to accommodate our group, as well as towels, etc. Owner was easy to correspond with, everything went very smoothly!"
