"This motel seemed to have people who actually live here. Pushing around shopping carts and smoking and drinking in their doorways. I only went there to sleep at night, while visiting family so I didnt hang around long. Bed was not comfortable and room had a musty smell. Bathtub was large and clean. Lights went off a few times. Overall, I needed a cheap place to stay and it did the job. "

"We stayed at this property because it fit our budget and was close as we could get to UConn, given that we started the hotel search one week before Family weekend. The motel is no-frills but it was very clean. Beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was grab and go but had good options bagel, cream, cheese, toaster some pastries, and the coffee was surprisingly pretty good. Overall, a very nice stay and I would stay here again. "

"Bed was nice and comfortable, room was larger than expected, but somewhat drab. The room was stocked with everything we needed for a two-night stay. There was no deadbolt on the door, which proved to be alarming when we were woken by a loud knocking and yelling early in the morning. Overall, good for the price, but the lack of a deadbolt is worrying, especially if someone tries to get into your room."

"We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the Count House. Its location was perfect ... easy beach access, close to the highway, etc. Everything we needed was supplied for us to enjoy the beach, cook our meals, or play games. There was only one full-size kayak with paddle and the paddle board paddle was broken (but we used it by kneeling on the board!). We would definitely return."
