"Angel was a great host, only a whatsapp away and was very responsive. The cottage is super cool, with custom wood work surfaces and really well designed bathrooms. We didn't use the hot tub as it was heaving with rain but that would have been a really nice relaxing time if the weather was better. Loads of on street parking just outside made it easier and it's walking distance to a really nice pub. Would recommend :)"

"A very pleasant long weekend at North Lodge. Location is peaceful but well located, plenty of amenities nearby. The house is cute and full of character. The kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space with patio doors out to the pretty little garden with mature shrubs and seating area. The kitchen is very well appointed. The bathroom would benefit from a bin and unit/stand to put products/wash bags on when in the bath. A few hangers in both the double bedrooms would be handy. The beds are...

"Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery. Alfriston is a great base, able to buy our groceries at the local shop, have a meal out at the smugglers arms, & browse the wonderful bookshop. Parking was convenient, kitchen is well equipped, and a nice library of dvd’s for relaxing evenings st home. Highly recommend. "
