"Loved staying here. Fantastic from the start. On check in we were given a warm greeting at Hettie Bells, where you check-in, (they kindly allow free bag storage before the afternoon check in) and the complimentary homemade cookies were a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated on the cold November day. Room lovely decorated, fresh feeling and nice ensuite bathroom. Room not spacious but a big double bed, tv, chair and hangers for clothes, what more do you need. We slept well, nice and quiet....

"The place was very simple and easy to find, the key/cardless check in was great, directions to the room were also good. The room itself was very nice and looked the exact same as the photos online. However I would just like to highlight a few points that I was not very happy with. The cleanliness of the bathroom area was not up to a great standard. There were a few hairs in the bathtub, discoloured limescale surrounding the bottom of the tub, alongside a tap that would not stop dripping...

"Beautiful property. Loved the character of the old mansion and the decor within the home. Check in was pleasant and easy. The TV channel selection was good compared to other places in our travels, which helps with children. Rooms were clean, however there was no soap provided to wash your hands in the room, which was inconvenient. Pre-ordering breakfast the night before a little unusual and limited time of 0800-0900 not great for a Sunday morning. Full English breakfast decent, rather casually presented, luke warm tea, no toast? cereals etc not stocked and yoghurts out of date, so not tried. I didn't complain"
