"Had a great couple days at the "glamping cabin." The ride to get there on a dark foggy night was a bit thrilling, but could immediately relax once I got into the cabin. Place has everything needed for a semi-primitive cabin experience. Enjoyed the sauna and thencozy bed. "

"This place was simply magical and comfortable to stay. We barely scratched the surface of the amenities like the fireplace and grills but the beds were comfy, the modern heat kept us warm, and the kitchen was easy to use for preparing food. The scenery is gorgeous and it’s quiet and peaceful! I had an enjoyable time walking my dog at night and seeing all the stars out! Rik is an amazing host and like other reviews have said, he greets you with fresh bread which was delicious! He takes the time...

"Super cozy and clean. Was great to disconnect and enjoy the serenity. 10 minute drive to Stratton and probably about 30-40 to Bromley and Mt Snow. I’ll definitely do it again."

"The property owners were so easy to work with, super communicative and quickly responded to any questions I had. The cabin was spacious, yet charming. The hot tub was amazing sitting under the night sky. The view outside of the many windows of the snow covered woods was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the heated bathroom and awesome hot open shower was wonderful after a day of skiing. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything I needed for my gourmet meals except aluminum foil...

"On a farm in the country…..stars blazing at night for hot tub. Cozy loft had amazing mattress and pillows! Our dog enjoyed the surrounding field. Beautiful! "

"Location was great for skiing at Stratton. Plenty of space for two families that we were not on top of one and other. House was very comfortable. Owner was great providing us details and information we needed for our stay. He was also flexible with our check out time this afternoon. We were so grateful since my husband was not able to ski. We hope to come back again "

"Amazing home, amazing location, amazing host. Was exactly what we were all hoping for. Can’t say enough about it. House is beautifully decorated and was well equipped. Host was pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. Will definitely book again. "

"Our stay at the West River Lodge was great! The cabin is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner one of the nights we were there and all we had to bring was the food…the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and flatware…even a vegetable peeler and can opener! We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Very cute cabin with fireplace and jacuzzi. Host provided firewood - which was a nice touch. Cabin is on dead end private road so, as mentioned, very peaceful. Lots of snow so no deck access, but imagine it would be great in summer too."
