Nestled in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands, this delightful family cottage is built in an elegant prow-fronted style. With an expansive outlook over Miskwabi Lake, you’ll enjoy pristine water for swimming and watersports as well as the tranquil location.
The main level of this Haliburton cottage rental offers an open-plan kitchen and dining area with soaring ceilings over the great room and an expanse of windows overlooking the lake. A spacious screened Haliburton room is a great spot for an evening aperitif or a game of cards, and has a door onto the deck which stretches across the full frontage of the cottage and welcomes outdoor dining and lounging.
Two bedrooms are on this level with the master having an ensuite, and a separate family bathroom off the hallway.
The loft, overlooking the great room has two more spacious bedrooms and a third bathroom, while the lower level boasts a large family room with fireplace, pool table, comfortable furniture and entertainment area.
The fifth bedroom (queen) is on this floor with another family bathroom.
This extensive accommodation would suit a multi-generational family or two families vacationing together giving everyone space and privacy.
Outside, a set of stairs leads to the lake and the dock from where you can swim in deep and clear water.

• Linens and indoor towels are provided for all rentals; please bring your own outdoor towels
• A post-rental cleaning service is provided; however; the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
• Garbage and recycling removal prior to departure is required
• Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome. Fixed and declawed cats also permitted, but pool table must be covered at all times when not in use.

Waterfront
The waterfront features both shallow entry from the shoreline, which is a mix of grass, sand, and rocks, and deeper water swimming off the dock. There is a sand bottom, and the water is generally fairly weed-free.

Miskwabi Lake House is located within The United Townships of Dysart, Dudley, Harcourt, Guilford, Harburn, Bruton, Havelock, Eyre and Clyde, more commonly known as the Municipality of Dysart et al. Situated in Haliburton County, the original townships were created by the (English-based) Canadian Land and Emigration Company. At 61 letters or 68 non-space characters, the municipality has the longest name of any place in Canada.
