"The cottage is very nice. It is on two levels, the kitchen/dining is down quite a steep staircase that I found difficult to negotiate. I'm nearly 70 and my daughter fast approaching 50, so not spring chickens! If you want to use the sofa as a bed there is a 35 pound charge for linen that isn't made clear when booking. We both slept in the one bed which was fine. Extra charges should be mAde clear on booking and the fact it only has one bedroom was disappointing. Otherwise nice place if somewhat...

"Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. "

"We had a fabulous family stay over Christmas and New Year. Plenty of space to spread out for the whole family. Comfortable beds, clean and warm house with everything you need in a beautiful setting. Lots of wildlife in the grounds. Easy access to Edinburgh and the surrounding area. We’d happily return!"

"This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. "I stayed in this cottage for 11 nights with my dog, my Mum came to visit for the weekend too. Kate and Cameron we're very welcoming, and went to extra lengths to make my stay enjoyable. A lovely touch was the welcome tray with tea, coffee and delicious shortbread! Not to mention a nice bottle of prosecco.
