"Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. "Sandy balls is a beautiful place to stay, our caravan was excellent and situated in amongst tall trees. There are lots of lovely walks in and around Sandy balls so we didn’t have to use the car. Lots of birds, deer, ponies and alpacas. We love Sandy balls, great place to come and recharge. I would highly recommend it. "
