"My friend and our two 13-year olds needed a place with enough beds (this was perfect - the boys got the two twin beds), within walking distance of downtown (about 2 miles) and somewhere safe so the boys could wander around without us. They really enjoyed being independent. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The house was very clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. "It’s definitely an old house as are most in Chico. The location was everything, only a 5 minute walk to the bars in downtown. Didn’t have to take a single uber which was nice. It had a big back yard with a nice set up. Beds weren’t super comfortable but weren’t bad either. It did say there was a washer and dryer when there wasn’t one but that’s okay. "Definitely a retro feel in an older neighborhood but a well built, well loved house. It was very comfortable and well equipped. Loved the landscaping and the hot tub. Would have loved the pool but it was too cold to get in. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Cute and cozy property with everything we needed. The home was clean and very close to our event. The listing did advertise as accommodating 5 for sleeping spaces but we found only 2 queen beds. However, it was not a problem as we had a blowup mattress we used for my grandson. The couch was available for sleeping if we needed it so assumed that was the 5th sleeping area. Nice property and we would happily stay again."

"We had a wonderful experience staying at this home during our visit to Chico. The house was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family with teens. Its location just outside the downtown area made it convenient for touring the university. The neighborhood was quiet and full of charming. The host was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay. We’d absolutely consider staying here again on any future trips."

"While the home was a ways out of town, I preferred it. Quick access to hwy 99. The home is spacious, comfortable, and clean and the 3 bathrooms came in handy. The yard around the property is huge and well manicured. The hosts were very hospitable. We're looking forward to the next time we stay. "

"Very nice and extremely large home great for a Chico stay. Quite neighborhood with easy access to the 99 freeway and town down the Esplanade."

"Stayed here with my grown children and their families. There was plenty of room for all of us. Looked like a very nice outdoor area but due to weather we were limited to inside ... but didn't feel cramped at all. Coffee wasn't provided, but Bidwell Perk was close by. Would stay here again."
