"Super easy contactless checkin/check out with newly remodeled rooms. Beds were comfortable with great pillows. My only snafu was trying to use the microwave only to discover it wasn’t plugged in! Had to move the shelving unit to plug it in. Also, would suggest a pocket door for the bathroom that encloses the area with a sink instead of the tight bathroom door that encloses the toilet/shower."

"The description of the cottage did not do it justice. This was a beautifully appointed/designed home that included all the expected amenities and more. Thoughtful inclusion of creamer for coffee and a great guide included for the area and instructions regarding wi-fi access, etc. The home is very clean and includes good quality towels (not always a given so very appreciated). Everything in Dunsmuir is walkable from this location so it is perfectly situated for exploring this adorable mountain town. Great pub, cafes, bakery, and a higher-end dining establishment for dinner. Two blocks from a small grocery store. Two blocks from the Amtrack station. Communication with property manager was excellent. I would definitely stay here again."

"There is no staff on site but Jerilyn answered immediately when I called to verify the entrance codes. The place is clean and very comfortable and nicely updated. The town has seen better days and remains quaint despite its recent challenges—it has a ton of potential. Excellent breakfast at the cornerstone cafe across the street. Beer up the road was also tasty. Note that only room 7 is on the entry level and there is no elevator. Out the back door is a nice deck area with a grill. We didn’t use — it looked tempting."

"Gorgeous rooms, cedar ceilings, arched window, and even a hammock across the two beds! Free bike rentals, outside barbecues and picnic tables. We have dogs, and they even have an enclosed area where they can safely do their business, including baggies and a disposal bin. Most hotels rip you off with huge additional charges, but no charge here! I highly recommend this amazing place. I wish the cafe had been open when we left, but we were able to make coffee in the room. CJ was really helpful at check-in. We will definitely return!"
