"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. "Can’t say enough nice things about the apartment and the owners. Convenient to everything we wanted to see and getting around choices are abundant. There is a car hire service close by (our choice) but there is also local bus service as well as a taxi service that has tours. Plus Citibus has a stop there. As far as the owners, we lost our keys and after a quick call and a few pints at a local pub, they met us with a new key.That is first class. We couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else"

"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller."
