"We had a great stay at the Kibo Palace. It was a great place to get some rest after a long flight, walkable to town where we enjoyed the Natural History Musuem and central market, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet with a good mix of local options, and a decent room. The pool hours were limited but otherwise a great stay. The hotel allowed us to keep the same room as we arrived a day early for our safari and only one night was part of the safari."

"The hotel is just off the busy main street so very nice to get to the quiet beautiful grounds and pool. It is very green and tranquil. The hotel inside is clean and practical. It’s a business centre hotel so quite big with decor as expected not like a small cosy hotel. Breakfast was a mix of African food and pancakes, omelette, fruit and yogurt. It was convenient for us but you will need a tuk tuk or taxi to get into town, not sure there are any shops/cafes in walking distance. The bar outside is nice to relax in the gardens, the pool was a great place to spend time after a busy day. Staff all spoke very good English and were all very friendly. "
