"Very positive review coming. We are a couple in our 50s and 60s. Disregard the majority of the negative reviews, they put bad reviews usually of 1 bad incident. Friendly, welcoming arrival, fast efficient reception staff. Everywhere clean and constantly being cleaned. Smiley friendly staff all round. Good facilities for everyone, especially for families. "Check in was slow as room wasn't ready even until about 4pm so we had to wait at the lobby for about an hour which was a bummer as we had rushed to end our half day tour by 3pm. Hard to figure out where our room was from the map as we had to head outdoors and identify the right building. Dinner timing is a little restrictive as need to prebook a timeot and it's difficult to get the time slot you want on the first day since those who stayed the night before would have done it way...

"The rooms are very big. The cimplex is HUGE. I was looking forward to a swim in the indoor pool, as advertised. But there isnt a swimming pool. There is an enormous thermal mineral spa (1000m) on site that people travel here to use. The hotel charge €37 to go in. But on a saturday you have to pre book and it was full. Also, the hotel website advertise a room, including dinner and entry to the thermal spa for same as we paid via expedia, for just a room!!!"

"Stayed one night on route to southern Spain. We upgraded and wow was beautiful. Central location easy street parking and some great local bars and restaurants close by. Breakfast was exceptional "

"The hotel was quite quiet during the day, it seems most people were in the parks, this meant not much choice for food or drinks in hotel during the day. But loved the connection to the parks and being able to walk just 15mins to be in Portaventura, but also option to walk to the beach in around 15minutes too. Best Portaventura hotel in terms of distance from beach. Best of both worlds. "

"Came the 5th may Had my 5 year old Daughter very safe for her but the POOLS were FREEZING did not want to spend a lot of time in the pool at this time of year which is a shame cause all a child wants to do is play about in a pool Also didn’t think there was a lot going on for kiddies through the day no kinda Kids club "

"I was only there for one night just passing thru with my family and arrived after dark. It would not be fair to rate the place, but it seems like a great place to spend a few days relaxing. Easy directions and welcoming. The only downside was that we had to leave the car by the front office overnight instead of next to the cabin in a secure area because the gates don’t function between midnight and 7:00 and we had an early departure. No problem. They have security around the place. "

"We spent 5 nights at this hotel, and for the price, it offered fantastic value. We flew into Barcelona and rented a car from OK Mobility. Conveniently, there was free street parking nearby, along with an unmarked parking area just behind the hotel, which was also free. "Great week long stay, there’s multiple pools and plenty of sun beds available at any time during the day. Unfortunately we had rain a few days but we were able to utilise the spa which includes a heated indoor pool with sauna and steam room. "We enjoyed our three day stay. The hotel hosted evening activities for kids which was a plus. The unlimited access to Port Aventura was also nice since you can step out of premises to eat at your hotel or in town (25 min walk) by the beach. Overall, great place and experience that I would repeat. "
