"A perfect place to stay for a night to recharge on a road trip.The room was clean and seemed to be remodeled from the last time we stayed there. The bed was comfortable. There was good shower pressure with plenty of hot water. Check in & check out was all digital so cell phone or device is necessary. It's across from a truck stop/gas station that also has a restaurant connected to it. There is also a Dunkin donuts shop there..A person can walk across the parking lot to eat so no need to get back in the car once in your room.There is a room for laundry but we did not use it. Because of some trucks coming and going & I am a light sleeper, I heard some in the morning. "

"Our group has an annual Fall outing that usually puts us in Southern MO or Northern Arkansas. We elected to stay much closer to the KC metro and found the One of a Kind Lodge. The house is beautiful and built with high end materials and finishes. The view to the East is spectacular. Plan on taking walks, fishing, cooking and sitting in rocking chairs. We had a very relaxing long weekend."

"Owners go out of the way to be helpful. The house is beautiful, the deer love it there , so fun to see. Had an awesome weekend just being away. Harrisonville has antiques and coffee shops."
