Very well-equipped but some surprising omissions: hangers and surfaces to set things on in the bedroom; corkscrew, scissors, microwave instructions, recycling advice in the kitchen. I would have liked to have been able to contact someone to say that two wall sockets weren't working. Otherwise, comfortable, convenient, warm and handy to have washing machine. "

"Cozy place to stay, 25 mins walk to a city centre along river Elbe if you like or via streets. We arrived early, a reception lady tild us our toom was actually ready for us, we were very happy as we wanted go to a city. A lsy at receptionist was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She recommended us a great place to have a local beer and food, hiddin from main streets and tourists. Check in was super fast. Our room in 2nd floor was very spacious, so was a bathroom with a bath tub. Our view was to a street shich was very quiet during a night. "

"Stopped off in Magdeburg on my way to Berlin and opted for Mercure hotel. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was clean, comfortable and had good WiFi coverage. Bike friendly, which was a bonus. Would happily use again"
