"The apartment amazing 3 doubles with 4th self contained with fridge and shower and lift perfect for me 85 year old mother. It was Christmas the host left us wine candles her sister in apartment across the hall brough local sweet cakes. Everything you can think of was provided including umbrellas, robes, special towels for jacuzzi all manner of plates glasses; an ice maker I loved the toiletries so much I bought a larger bottle in a chemist to take home. Location amazing 5 minutes to the sea and...

"We cannot say enough positive things about the gardenia garden house. It was a wonderful location to explore the beaches and hiking spots around Chania, and experience the lovely culture of the people of Sternes. It is within 10 minutes of the airport but feels a world away. Comfortable furnishings surrounded by lemon and olive trees,herbs to cook with in its well equipped kitchen all made it a comfortable home for us. Hoping to return to this lovely spot!"

"Katerina was very communicative before and during our stay. The house is finished beautifully, and very well outfitted. We enjoyed the small outdoor terrace. The only negative was the limited space for clothing. Since there were only 2 of us we used the loft for our bags, but it was still tight. Street parking was not an issue - if not available right in front, we found a space just around the corner. We loved staying in a local neighbourhood and enjoyed exploring the lovely streets, and...

"The Seaside Villa had damage to do a water pipe burst when we arrived. At first we were very disappointed. But due to high construction on roads in direct area along the beach and the vacant building next door (Scary) we ended up being happy that we had to move. Maybe once construction in area is complete, the location may be OK... Elia Management took VERY good care of us and put us into 2 rooms downtown Chania....Great Location, right downtown were all the stores and places to eat are. ...

"Really enjoyed our six weeks stay in Thomas house, everything you need is there and a nice pool to cool off, the outdoor space is great and the sunset are just amazing every evening , the small village at the back of the house Kokkino Chorio has two nice taverna and the food is really good, the small supermarket is lovely run by Georgos all within 5 minutes walk only one negative six weeks isn't long enough. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. Very small tvs and old style coffee filter. Might benefit from a small upgrade to nespresso and slightly better entertainment system. But these are minor issues. "I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous. "

Great service and friendly staff

"We so enjoyed our stay at SanSal. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special for our anniversary. They left nice notes and a bottle of wine in our room. We played cards at night with friends in the common room and when they needed to close up they suggested that we move to the business center if we wanted to play longer. We were arranging an early morning check out to catch our flight and they offered to have a carry out breakfast ready for us at 6am. Everyone there was so friendly and it truly made the stay special. Add to that the nice rooms and beautiful view, and this is a wonderful hotel that we will gladly book on our next trip to Crete. "
