"We really enjoyed our stay in Aix @ des Augustins. The location was excellent - right off Cours Mirabeau and a wonderful little square with restaurants and pubs. A little rocky start as the room with terrace I booked (via description and pictures) did not exist. I’m not sure if this was an error on Expedia or hotel description of rooms; but, I was disappointed upon arrival. We were given the deluxe room that I booked, but no terrace, just windows. I was offered the comfort room with a terrace the next morning, but the room and bath were extremely tiny and there is no elevator to the third floor. We stayed in the larger room, which was a wonderful size (with sofa and twin bed) (also the bath). With the rain, we weren’t likely to use the terrace anyway. The bath has a huge jetted tub with handheld shower and no glass, so not easy to shower. Some noise from rooms above. Carpet in room a little worn, but everything seemed clean. Bonus: the room had both a coffee pod machine and kettle for tea - website had said these only bailable in common areas, so a big plus! Beautiful common areas and very receptive and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Aix! "

"The home interior is well layout and the beds were comfortable, but the pillows were terrible. The furniture was a bit spartan, side tables for the sofas would be great and a table accent to the fridge would help. Unfortunately the heaters in both bathrooms were not working, which the manager intended to get fixed. We rented in February so we did not use the garden, but for a summer use the garden would need some serious upkeep to trim hedges and remove weeds. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite some minor irritants. "

"The hotel was great. The room was big and nice, everything was super clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was very complete. Parking was very easy, in a garage that’s like one block away from the hotel, and which you pay for at the reception when you check out. The spa was also very complete and very fun. Finally, the location is perfect. You can walk around the city and reach anywhere in a few minutes. Would definitely stay again."

"Very friendly receptionists who were always there to help. Accommodated early check in and rented an umbrella for unexpected shower. Facility was very clean and pleasant. Only thing was the distance from the bus station and city center, of course still walkable and good deal for the price!"
