"The property in general was quite nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was there was no onsite restaurant for dinner or a full regular bar. There is a nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch but only open till 6 (sometimes only till 2). There is a pool bar but what you’d expect for a pool bar, not for a nice dinner and a cocktail. "We stayed at The Mauian to celebrate my sister's birthday, she lives on the island, but in a different town. It was a great location, other family members could stay at different resorts depending on their comfort level. Staff was wonderful and friendly. We enjoyed using the grills and being able to hop in the Ocean to cool off and appreciated the water refill station. We don't have young children, but seems like many families staying there did and seemed to have a wonderful time. "

"Beautiful property! Loved the views & all the gorgeous flowers. Garden meticulously cared for. Great proximity to grocery, beaches, smaller restaurants. The beach that the property is situated on is not really swimmable, however plenty more in the area if you rent a car. The first 2 days we were awoken at 5am-6am with loud voices in the suite across from us, followed by a door closing loudly & person saying goodbye (later found out that some people live in this building).
