"Good location and good service. However, the property is falling apart. Furnishings are outdated and filthy. Couch had sweat stains and other deep stains. Rug full of dirt and stains. Windowsills full of dust and grime. Curtains show dark areas full of dirt. Awful smell. Do not recommend."

"The hotel is perfectly.located in the center of La Paz and ypu can walk to everything. People at the reception were very helpful at many occasions. The rooms are a bit noisy but I guess it's the price to pay to be in town. Breakfast is okay but not in par with the rest of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in La Paz."

Be aware that the Onkel Inn in La Paz is NOT next to the water, nor does it have floor to ceiling patio doors leading out to the water, a huge reception area or a spa tub. These photos (as I discovered when I arrived) are actually of their other hotel in Copacabana. The La Paz Onkel Inn was very much a hostel located in a shopping centre.
