"Hotel location was amazing, not to far from train station, use grab to call a taxi (its like uber), lots of food option in surrounding area, including Halal resturant. Forbidden city is walking distance. Whats app, youtube, google, facebook, and other apps dont work in china, also most shops (and i mean most) dont accept visa, make sure to have we chap or ali pay downloaded and ready, or take out cash from lots of near by ATMs or Money exchange. Roads are really quite becuase most cars are electric. Hotel room nice and clean, hotwater in shower is fast, TV all chinese channels. We booked a private car ro great wall of china, you can do a tour which is cheaper but wont have to option to return when ever you like. Make sure to have translater ready on phone, most dont speak english. "
