"The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building. A nice courtyard is hidden behind a metal entrance door. Matteo and his brother are extremely nice hosts, who can provide enthusiastic advice on sightseeing in Milan. Our room was one of the two behind the courtyard which, unfortunately, the WiFi signal from the main building didn't reach - but was fine if...

"The hotel is more like an appartment hotel located inside a hidden building with other services. Anna was very friendly and was very responsive. The hotel is small, AC is not cold, and wifi is slow. However, it is very convenience location. It's like 5 minute walk to Duomo Milano and shopping center is right down the hotel building with lots of restaurants. Ovreall it's a good hotel to stay. "

It was a bit noisy and the biggest fault for me was no bedding on the duvet, so that made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
