"If your looking for a place near DE turf field this is about 14 mins away if the traffic is bad 10 mins normally. Located near a walmart dollar tree and movie theater. There are many fast food options 5 mins away. The home is great has there is an airfryer which is good. The seller communication was great. I had no issues getting in or checking out. My son who is 6'2 slept comfortably in the other room. Beds are as comfortable as a hotel. Over all nithing to complain about. Better than a hotel...

"We had a great stay for a lacrosse tournament we were in town for and would stay again in the future. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Sierra was great to work with. The only down side to the stay was that we did not feel the beach/bay was swimmable, but still enjoyed our walks on the beach and searching for shells."

"We had a great time here. The house was absolutely lovely! The only issue we had was that I did not check the tides before going and we were surprised by the lack of use of the ocean during low tide. However it was still nice to walk and look for shells during low tide."

We loved looking out over the marsh from the back deck, birdwatching. I would highly recommend this property. We only had 5 people (my husband and I with 3 young adult children), but you could fit a lot more. "

Everyone was blown away by how clean, spacious and well organized the house was. We had room to spread out, cook and relax between games, and everyone rested well in the peaceful rooms. "This property was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room, the house was very clean, and the location gave us a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of the lacrosse tournament. The owner was responsive and fantastic. I think my favorite part was getting to listen to the bay noise at night while going to sleep. Extremely peaceful. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again when we are back in the area."

"Very nice stay for us. Clean bright space. Loved the accommodation of each room with their own lock, desk, fridge and tv. Shower, no bath but otherwise prefect for our family. Felt secure with the cameras in front and back. Was thankful for this space so close to my grandmother. "

"We were in the area to visit family and always enjoy the Slaughter Beach for its quiet natural beauty. The Mermaid Cottage was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!"
