"We arrived for our stay and there was no person available to accept us. We went back in the morning to check in and question why there had been no person to check us in and we were turned away and told they were not accepting guests! Cost more money for our party of 5 persons. A great inconvenience"

"Pleasant riad with helpful staff. About a 10 minute walk to the historical ramparts. Portugese Cistern is closed for repairs. About 1/2 hour walk to area with choices of restaurants. Area around the riad was not a touristed area at all. We stopped in El Jadida en route to Casablanca instead of returning to Marrakech from Essaouira, and travelling to Casablanca from Marrakech. However, in hindsight that might have been a better option. "

"We arrived at the Riad to find we were the only people staying on the first night. The suite was spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast on the terrace and spent time in the pool on the next day. The place is a hidden gem about 20 minutes drive from the city. Other people arrived during our 3 night stay but it was hard to believe such a lovely place was so empty. Transport is essential as it is in the countryside but it is perfect for a quiet break and we were looked after very well....

"This is a great riad, and possibly the best place to stay in Safi. Ask a local how to find it, initially; they all know the place and it is hard to find if you don't know. It is fairly simple, but comfortable, quiet, clean, traditional and cosy. We were not given the room we booked, and had two singles instead of a double, hence the 4/5 stars, but otherwise we enjoyed a delightful stay here. "

Chambre non insonorisée et non sécurisée : une fenêtre qui ne fermait pas donnait dans le hall du restaurant tenu par le même propriétaire ! Le restaurant faisait un bruit inimaginable. "So obviously the hotel industry is hurt during the pandemic, but the description of this hotel is misleading. It promised bottled water and welcome drinks: neither were available as the hotel doesn’t have the money for it anymore. In the room I was in was an ant graveyard - countless dead ants over all surfaces (counter, toilet, shower, toilet paper, even some in the bed).
