"We were able to relax on the generous deck. The kitchen was functional for many to visit and work at the same time The large family room with couches was great for watching the World Cup on the huge TV, disappointing as the outcome was. The many bedrooms accommodated our large family very well."

"Great communication, great spot for smores, love the basement, well stocked! if you stay in July the temp upstairs is very hot unless you figure out how to hold the AC temp lower on main floor, and it doesn't return to normal settings after 8hrs on its own. I would definitely come back as the relaxing setting is just right for vaca!"

"The cottage is very cute and a great place for a solo vacation alongside a lake! Everything needed for cooking is available in the kitchen, and plenty of room in the fridge for groceries needed on vacation. I was able to use the kayak available, and it was on a small rolling cart so was easy for me to pull it just down the street to the public launch. "We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated! On the next visit, we want to tour the artist studio :) "

"The location was amazing. The property has its own private beach on the shore of Lake MI and has beach toys, floaties, and beach chairs available. The house is a nice size with comfortable beds. It's a rather old property and could be kept up better, but was fine for what we needed. There is no AT&T cell service along the lake in this neighborhood, but the house has WiFi as listed. Couldn't be more impressed

"I took my grandkids to Holland for a Christmas trip (I dont do presents, I do memories). We stayed here then went to urban air. I have not been more impressed. The games, the pool, the breakfast, the entire stay exceeded my expectations and THAT is saying a lot from me."
