"The hotel is a quaint, historic location popular for Andersen’s Pea Soup restaurant. We had dinner there which was excellent. The room we stayed in was neat and clean however had a strong smell of cigarettes. We booked a non smoking room, but this room had clearly been used by smokers. The front desk was sympathetic but unfortunately no other room was available. They did send a maintenance person with air deodorizer which helped a little. Overall not a bad place to stay, just could’ve been better."

"My wife and I stayed in this hotel when it was under another company's management. But now that Hilton runs it everything is improved by 100 times! The amenities were spectacular! Our bed was so comfortable. The rooms were totally renewed and super clean! We did miss having coffee in the room, but the front office coffee was very good!"
