"The place looks a bit drab from the outside but inside we had a warm welcome from Mary and Lynn and very much enjoyed the cosy bar and restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and warm, the latter an important consideration given that we were hiking and getting wet! "

"This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather."

The food in the bar/restaurant looked superb and it was fairly busy when I got there, however I didn't try the food as I already had other plans for the evening. Rooms are equipped with electricity outlets, wifi and tv for those needing it. The pub itself is fantastic with a very well stocked bar.
