"We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...

"We had a lovely stay at Curlew cottage. Appledore was a great spot and we loved the walks and local pubs, shops and nature. The house was as described and we had a very comfortable stay. The view from the garden, over the estuary was special and we loved spending time out there.in all weathers. Communication with Stephanie was easy and we had everything we needed.Thank you!"

The kitchen was very well equipped and there were plenty of towels. The location was lovely and quiet and in a great position for visiting local attractions. We would definitely stay again."

"We travel to North Devon every year and normally stay in Woolacombe. However, this year we went with another family and this collage was perfect for us all. We did have a hiccup at the start which was completely out of the host's control and Mark was absolutley brilliant in sorting us out. The accommodation is lovely and Mark is very attentive. We particularly liked the snug and the large kitchen, which was well equipted, plus a washer and dryer (fabulous!). Outside you can wash out...

"The cottage is located very near to the center of the village, which has everything you need for a long stay. The kitchen is well appointed but we did have problems with the overly sensitive smoke detector. Communication with Lisa was excellent. She responded immediately to any questions we had. The place is best suited for people who plan to spend most of their time outdoors walking and exploring, since it doesn’t have an outdoor patio or yard. Chagford is a very special place with lots to do...

"Lovely old cottage with everything we needed, fantastic views, the cream teas that were left for us was a lovely touch, the decking area was very disappointing and in need of some upgrading, great location for visiting other areas of interest in easy reach, overall we had a great holiday and would love t go back again, "

"We had a lovely peaceful weekend away here. Lynda was very welcoming even though we arrived 5 hours late due to motorway closure. Nice secluded woodland for the dogs to roam about in. Well equipped cottage and comfortable beds which is always a bonus."
