"The drive to get there from 81 is a VERY curvy mountain road. But if you're looking to get away from people and the noise of suburbia then this is heaven on earth!The setup is perfect for families! The house is close to the road but since maybe 5 cars go down it on a busy day you don't even notice.Our favorite thing to do is sit by creek and read a book.There's plenty of seating indoors and out. The kitchen is very well appointed including farm fresh eggs YUM! There's also plenty of blankets and pillows so no need to worry about bringing your own."

"Relaxing and enjoyable stay! Would definitely go back, maybe in the fall for the leavesStream behind house was my favorite spot to sit and drink coffee in the morning, wine in the afternoon. Lots to do, maybe a 30 minute drive. We fished, went to several caves & wineries. Definitely checkout the natural chimneys!!"

"My husband camped in the George Washington National Forest for many years until giving that up for health reasons. I found this sweet guest house, which was perfect for us and our dog Cookie. The decor is enchanting and the place was spotless. Michelle was friendly and welcoming, and she thought of special touches to make the visit a great experience. Although the kitchen facilities were limited, we used the mini-fridge and microwave to prepare a nice dinner that we ate at the cute kitchen table. We particularly enjoyed the deck. Most of all we appreciated that Michelle allowed Cookie to accompany us on what might be Jeff’s last visit to a place he loves."

"This property is huge! Also is at the end of a long shared driveway! We weren’t sure how many guests we were going to have staying so we booked this place thinking we would have enough room. It ended up only being 4 people staying there but was perfect! Lots of beds and space. There are limited properties in this part of WV but would definitely stay there again if ever in the area! Nicole was very responsive and communicative through the booking and arrival processes. "

"This was a short get away just to relax. We couldn't believe how thoughtful our host was. She thought of everything, and I do mean everything! We had a wonderful stay and were very appreciative of how nice the cabin is. We loved it and will be booking again in the future! Perfect place to just go and be quiet. I'd mark it more than 5 stars if I could!"

"We came up from Charleston to get away for the weekend. Really enjoyed the size and remoteness of the cabin and the readiness of the fire pit and grill. The firewood for sale just up the hill was really nice too. "
