"It’s Nicaragua so you have to keep that in mind. There’s no hot water in the showers, there’s no ice available. The hall smells like cigarette smoke. But the restaurant is decent. Nice free full breakfast. The staff is attentive. The bands are good. And the bathroom is spacious. It’s close to the US embassy so it’s a better area with a high end grocery store. No English speakers on staff here. "

"This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. "Great place to stay. Love the ambience and the setting. Like staying in a country cabin, but with comfort. The bed was awesome. High quality mattress. Staff was friendly and attentive. Nice pool and the on-site restaurant was very good. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to my friends. "

"Host manager was very helpful and accommodating, and friendly. Met nice guests there. AC was great, Room was adequate, outside dining area was nice and good strong coffee. Area surrounding the hotel isn't the nicest neighborhood to walk around in, but close to airport and taxi service very quick and inexpensive."

"We arrived at the airport and it was raining nonstop. Other hotels were far we the exception of one that was fully booked, so we settled for this one. It’s a particular home.The room had no screen and mosquitos were an issue. The lady demanded we paid same amount per person not for room contrary to what it was advertised. Called Expedia to let them know the arrangement had change. It was so weird. Since it was late and raining I couldn’t pay cash only debit, We ended up leaving that same night....
