"Looked nice and well appointed. Visit was for Doncaster Races with dad and two grown up sons. Marketed as 4 person place, however, comfort score low as the sofa bed was absolutely the worst and most uncomfortable thing to sleep on ever, 2 nights no sleep! "

"Property is self catering house at edge of the town. Spacious and decent kitchen. Road quiet (liked that) and easy access to nature reserve/countryside walks. Parking a bit of an issue but didn’t detract from our stay. "

"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done. "No fuss hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bar and breakfast area were excellent. Rooms do feel a bit dated but they were not worn down. All in very good condition and immaculately clean. "

"Nice clean rooms but a little date very friendly staff and maids for the room where amazing and couldn’t do enough for us to make our special for an early valentines night Food was nice with a decent selection of bar food unfortunately the steak house wasn’t open Sunday evening The spa and pool area was great but again a little dated all facilities were working and the showers were decent "

"Beautiful clean property in a good location. Beautiful roll top bath and bathroom. Unfortunately toiletries on the wall were not in easy reach while in bath. No hairdryer in room but I would imagine if we’d contacted reception they would have provided one. Not ideal. Just a few little niggles but otherwise a lovely place to stay and great breakfast. "

"We were in town for an athletics competition and looking for somewhere cheap to stay considering the price we paid was really surprised by what a top-notch hotel it was. Really friendly helpful staff and a very delicious breakfast can thoroughly recommend. Only thing was paying £15 for parking for a few hours "

A fabulous weekend

"The hotel was brilliant our nephew absolutely loved every minute of his stay it’s very child friendly he loved the bunk beds and bean bag in the room We had a meal at the restaurant with the dragons and dinosaurs great for the kids but the bistro was much nicer. The wildlife park was brilliant. We will definitely be back."
