"The house was a wonderful option for a large family group. We needed a place to stay for two nights prior to our daughter’s wedding weekend at the Kaplan Mitchell Retreat Center. The long kitchen table afforded two groups of 4 to work on separate wedding preparations (assembly style) at the same time. The house was clean, comfortable, and had amazing views from the 3 different decks."

"We stayed in this house last year and was hoping it would be available this year. We were so excited that it was available. We stayed a week and we loved it. My mother has some mobility issues, this house was perfect for her. She had a room on the bottom floor and was very comfortable. It is in a beautiful area, not far from town, and many things to do near by. We will be back."

"The house was accurately described and the photos represent the home. We found everything to be clean and well organized and exceptionally well stocked for our stay. We were able to do many day trips from this “home base”. The community is safe and the home offers a lot of privacy. We had a few issues that the owner and his local caretaker solved the same day. Overall it was a great stay and we hope to come back again."
