"Hotel Montchapet was a great find in visiting Dijon. It's on a quieter street a few minutes from the centre ville and the start of the route de la Chouette. I arrived before check in and the clerk let me drop my baggage off and then immediately printed off a city map and showed me various places of interest for me to explore on my first trip to the city. "Nice hotel. Largw room. Little noisy. The bathroom heat is not enough, it was cold. The shower flooded up to the bedroom carpet. The carpets in the aisles do not look clean."

The location is incredibly central - easy walking distance to the train station and all attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc. The rooms were perfectly fine - but definitely a bit run down and could use a finer cleaning. For the price one can’t expect a 5-star hotel though so definitely a good value for money. "
