"This was probably the weirdest hotel experience in my life. The huge manor has been converted to a hotel but has been neglected recently (including a time housing asylum seekers - Google it). "Overall the room was clean and tidy, bedding and towels immaculate and the bed and pillows comfy. The shower was lovely and hot and powerful. Sadly no mattress cover. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and the underside of the bathroom taps had lots of limescale plus the washer between the shower head and hose seemed to have gone so it was leaking.There was no one on reception when I left to give feedback on these small issues"
