"Falling Star was perfect for what we needed. It was secluded with plenty of space for our kids and dogs to run and play. We had no problems finding the cabin with the directions given. The hot tub was wonderful! The only negative (and really, it wasn’t enough to make us not want to come back) was that the master shower had little to no hot water and was backed up upon first use. I contacted the host and their guest contact but did not receive a response. Again, not a big deal and we would definitely be back but it would’ve been nice to have received a response/help."

"I was hesitant to stay here because of the reviews. As a woman in her 40's who travels alone, I like to be cautious. Ultimately though, my sole purpose for going to Murfreesboro was to spend a few days digging in the park. This site is right down the road and the price was right.Although dated, the cabin was clean. The bathroom was also dated, but also very clean. As far as other complaints in reviews about mold, Arkansas gets very hot and humid. Fighting mold is always going to be an ongoing battle in a campground setting there. Yes, there are people who live there in trailers. Yes, there are some older cars there. The residents all seemed very nice though. There were a few dogs that barked from time to time. But it wasn't excessive.If you're looking for luxury accomodations, expecting the atmosphere of a hotel, or searching for Instagram perfection, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a place to stay so you can spend time in the park and doing other outdoors things, this is perfect for you."
