"Hard to access parking, but plenty of room once in. Friendly receptionist, nice room, comfy bed. We worried it would be noisy as the room faced the street, and was noisy all day, but was quiet while sleeping. Breakfast was good, we ate dinner elsewhere so can't comment. Easy walk to see all of Shrewsbury. A few minor annoyances: 1. Walking around the room made the hangers in the wardrobe rattle, due to loose floorboards maybe, - we had to take them out. 2. "We booked to stay one night for our anniversary down from the north on the day of the first snow in November! Still our day was delightful, the hotel is based in a picturesque village overlooking open countryside. The view was even more idillic with the covering of snow. Our hostess was very welcoming and very helpful all through our stay. The food was superb, we would have loved to stay longer but we had other commitments. We both thoroughly recommend The Manor at Abberley. "
