"Our visit here was great, very laid back feeling. The staff was very kind for the most part and offered helpful answers when asked. The location was good for our needs and the local amenities were just right! We felt safe and comfortable here. The swimming pool was a bit green on arrival but was cleaned and well used during our stay which was great after long days out and about. Private balconies overlooking the water, fishing boats, yachts, sunny views and air-conditioning were really nice. What would have made this property ideal is definitely a mini fridge in the room and better closing balcony sliding doors. It was very difficult having to buy cold bottled water to keep a young child hydrated and have it warm up quickly in the room or having nowhere to keep snacks safe from pests and constantly spending $ at the pricey bar/ restaurant on site. On a positive note though the owner/ workers in the restaurant and cafe were really accomodating and had great customer service! The food was great and beers were ice cold! Overall a good experience! I hope the suggestion of the mini fridge becomes a reality it would be a needed upgrade to a casual hotel experience. Thanks Point Bay!"

"Wonderful staff who were extremely helpful and attentive. Lots of unexpected, pleasant gestures such as complimentary late check out. Food was slightly overpriced especially in the restaurant. There could be more vegetarian options on the menu."

"Ich liebe diesen Ort! Genau so habe ich mir ein paar Tage Karibik vorgestellt. Einschließlich der Einschränkungen, wie z.B. zeitweise kein Wasser oder auch keine aircondition, dafür einen mega Blick auf das Meer bzw. Port Elisabet. Lunch, Dinner oder an der Bar DIREKT am Wasser ist schon sehr sehr cool! Ich empfehle das Frangipani wärmstens allen, welche nicht wert auf Schickimicki, dafür auf spirit und Natürlichkeit legen."

"Property is very convenient to airport & public transportation. Staff are very friendly & helpful. They are available as needed and quick to respond to any questions, though out of sight and don’t overwhelm you. This is not a beachfront property with loungers, umbrellas and folks refilling your drinks, but the beach is a quick convenient under five minutes walk away. It is public, but I found it mostly empty each morning around 8am: my swim time. They are currently under construction, which did not bother me one bit, the noise was very minimal. The work is to add a restaurant and spa on the site which will be excellent and convenient as dining options are located elsewhere. La Vue was an easily accessible choice for dining or with a quick walk or transport more options are available. The supermarket and a convenient store are nearby. I was connected with a local taxi driver who took me around for a surcharge and he was as great as the staff members, he’s knowledgeable on the area, friendly and patient. We visited the Water Falls and I had it to my self for about 2 hours before others arrived, meditation at its best! This was my first solo trip, I felt fairly safe while being cautious and vigilant. My first visit to SVG, but prayerfully, not my last. I hope to return once the construction at this property is complete so I can experience the spa and new restaurant, as well as bask once again in the same peace and tranquility I experienced during this stay."

"We had a wonderful weeklong stay at The Liming. The staff was so attentive, always eager to help, and very friendly. The property is beautiful and the cottages are exquisitely decorated with bay windows offering unparalleled views of the sea. We had a small, private lap pool that added to the luxury. Guests must be aware that although The Liming restaurant is excellent, the hotel is far from other restaurants and the harbour, so be prepared for 20-25 minute trips back and forth at a taxi cost of US$25/70EC each way. If you want to relax away from it all, you will appreciate being at the far west tip of the island."
