"My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a great location for touring Crete. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. There is a beach and many restaurants and services within easy walking distance. Maria is an outstanding host, going above and beyond to provide for your every need. "

"During our week long stay the water stopped running one afternoon/evening and we lost electricity one afternoon/evening. This interrupted our dinner plans for 2 of our 7 evenings. The property is very nice with incredible views of mountains and sea. However the location is difficult to find and there was no organized check in process. Suggest that if this property is subject to random water and electric problems this should be disclosed to potential renters."

"Very beautiful and quiet place for a lovely holiday. The apartment was very clean and we had a change every 3 days. Everything in the listing is as described. The view was breathtaking of the beach. "We stayed in an ocean view room and the view was beautiful. Nice breeze. Location is high up with steep slopes, not feasible for older and those with bad backs. Property has elevator to avoid the slope but is hard to find. Definitely helpful once it is found. Interior could use some upgrades. But it was clean and comfortable enough. Enjoyed my stay. "
