"The staff at the hotel were super friendly and very pro dogs. Breakfast was very nice and good location for getting to the beach and five min walk from Seahouses centre. I had one of the windowless rooms, which wasn't a problem in the deep winter, wouldn't have liked it in summer. Nice little touches of biscuits for me and my dog on arriving. Only niggles they seemed a bit short staffed as one staff member seemed really busy. Plus they said there would be a fridge in my room, for dog food. But...

"Quirky place with antiques and gift shop on site. Loved the big bath in our room, and relaxing beside the open fire in the communal lounge in the evening. Really peaceful despite proximity to A1. Host recommended excellent place for dinner and taxi company to transport us."

"This was an inspired booking through Hotels.com. We had an excellent room (Lapwing), which gave us a lot of space. The weather was fantastic (snow on the beaches, zero temperatures and clear skies - excellent for walking)."

"Lovely hotel. Spent three nights in a suite, food (breakfasts, dinner & Sunday lunch) were delicious. Decor throughout hotel is stylish but it maintains a cosy welcoming feel. Would definitely stay again. "

"We had a great one night stay at the Amble Inn. The hotel location was perfect for our needs. The 5*** rating I gave is absolutely true as the hotel is immaculate, the attached pub is great and the staff are so pleasant and welcoming. Well Done all. So much so…. We intend to stay again when our needs require to."

"We had a wonderful stay for 1 night as a stop off to the Scottish Highlands. Allison was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. A very cosy room in a quiet part of Berwick, not far from the centre. Great views of the beach as well. Highly recommended!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this magnificent property! Sitting at breakfast with views of the gardens was a dream! The food was amazing- the staff were friendly and the property was stunning! We enjoyed walking the grounds and soaking up the beauty and privacy of this amazing place. We literally cannot wait to return to Linden Hall on our next trip to Northumberland!"
