The couple managing the property were attentive and extremely helpful. The hotel is conveniently located within a short and pleasant walk to the city center. "Nous avons passé nos fête de fin d'année dans cette jolie fermette. La ferme a été entièrement rénovée cette année alliant tradition et modernité. Les soirées au coin du feu sont réconfortantes au coeur de l'hiver. D'un point de vue pratique, le gite est bien équipé: lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, micro-onde...les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et vous expliquent les bons plans du pays: acheter ses oeufs à la ferme, son vin au vignoble...n'oubliez pas vos chaussures de marche pour profiter de...

"Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"Was excited to stay on the square with the cathedral, but the inability to pull up to the hotel and no elevator plus an incredibly narrow spiraling staircase made getting in and out feel down right dangerous. The room is clean, but unbelievably small; the bath was nice- about the same size as the room! Dinner in the hotel restaurant was pretty good. Petite déjeuner was in a sister hotel down the street and was very good. The diminutive size of the hotel would keep me from staying here again."
