"Very nice place but lack of ability to contact ANY staff except by personal phone was big issue for foreigners waited outside pounding on door for over 15 minutes in 90 plus heat before someone came to answer. On of 2 lights in bathroom not working and no way for me to contact staff since my cellphone was not working. No front desk support or internal phone or even a bell was frustrating "

"I spent a week at this lovely place, looked after my the energetic and helpful owner. My room was bright and spacious, with a small balcony area and a large, clean bathroom. I originally only booked for three nights but extended as I loved the town and this guesthouse so much! I was driven to the train station at the end of my stay. Many thanks!"

"Very disappointed with the incorrect location listed on the Hotels.com website. Waterbirds family is located over 3 miles away from the "Check Location" map - and nowhere near the ocean. Once we realized where we were going, it was not worth trying to rebook another hotel closer to the location we desired."
