"I really was impressed with the JW. The rooms were new, beds comfortable, service was great in most areas like the breakfast area and the concierge. Very helpful and smooth business stay. Just the bar was lacking in service. Great place to stay in Kolkata. 25 min from the airport. My driver Ranjun was great and drove me around to various appointments for the day. He was excellent."

But lobby/front desk so many staff walking around but you’re waiting to get things done like had to wait for my luggage after checkout & I had to leave for airport but staffs are very polite & felt safe throughout. I will come back for sure & will recommend my family abroad."

"I hardly ever write reviews but I felt like I had to for the Raajkutir! Such an absolute gem of a hotel. Unremarkable from the outside, but once you enter the grounds are so beautiful and traditional in style, you can’t quite believe that the hustle and bustle of Kolkata is just the other side of the wall. The rooms are STUNNING, the food delicious, and the staff are falling over themselves to help you. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Raajkutir! "
