"We liked it because it was very near the lake. We disliked it because our bedroom was filthy. There was thick dust everywhere in our room. The back of the tv was disgusting. The air vent was filthy, the upturned lamp shade in the bedroom had whole families living in there. Even in the corridors there were swathes of dust. When we asked to move, the receptionist took us to another room this one the paint work was white and it was just as dirty, the receptionist didn't seemed bothered. She then...

"Property is promising from the outside, but was really really dated inside. We didn’t get a chance to use the pools, but there were several. There was also a tennis court and an on site restaurant. Rooms and hallway could use an update. "

"A lovely hotel in a fantastic location on the lake. Very clean and the comfiest beds and pillows since we’ve started touring NZ. Reception team were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend highly if staying in Taupo. "
