"Before we arrived, we knew that this motel was being predominately used as emergency housing (this wasn't the case when we booked mid 2023) however the motel manager did everything possible to honour all the bookings for this weekend in spite of the situation she found herself in. She contacted us well in advance, explained what was going on, and gave an assurance that our booking would still go ahead.
