"Whilst most of the hotel is 5 star, there were some niggling problems. 1. The WiFi and internet are terrible. This is 2025 not 1995 !! 2. The cord on the hairdryer was so short you cannot use a mirror when drying your hair. 3. The “adults” pool is not really for adults. It has no lifeguards but children n can use it freely. Everything else was excellent, especially breakfast."

From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. "Friendly staff and facilities at the hotel are good. Nearest beach is a rocky beach. Last few KM of the road leading to the hotel is very poor. This section needs to upgrade and possibly out of hotel managements' control. They may need to coordinate with the neighboring hotels and the local authority. However, signs leading to the hotel from the main road is not very clear. Google maps lead to a circuitous route. Need to upgrade the signs leading to the hotel in every junction and this is...

It really is the best hotel on Mawella beach (and maybe even in whole of southern province :) The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff are super friendly, including owner Xander, it's absolutely right on the beach , the food is great.
