Although the shower was clean, the mould in the tube made me feel uncomfortable. The rooms can use a few things such as a place for me to use my own hairdryer, apply makeup and box of tissues. "The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby."
