"My wife and I didn't make it to the hotel until after midnight. I felt bad that the hotel tried to reach out to me beforehand, to know what time I may arrive, but I was in the mountains and didn't see the message until we arrived at the hotel. "The place itself was fine for our needs; however, I do have concerns over the welfare of the animals on site. The donkey enclosure was small, full of faeces, and had no fresh grass for the donkeys. There are numerous birds gulls? a rabbit, at least 3 ducks all in an enclosure, with very water. Not a natural or good environment for them!!! I will be looking at animal welfare laws in San Marino, and contacting the appropriate people over this. "

"The hotel in itself is great, for the price, really friendly staff, nice room, not expensive, everything. The problem lies in the fact that it is right on a highway. The website may say that it is a few hundred metres from the stop for buses to/from Rimini - what it does not say is that you are practically taking your life in your hands to walk alongside a highway to get to it, especially in the dark. My only way to reach it was by taxi, for the sake of 300 dangerous metres - and the minimum...
