"I stayed here for two nights with my husband on our way down south. He is from the area and wanted to see Rutland Water. We visited various parts of the reservoir and really enjoyed seeing the area around. The hotel was also walkable distance from the museum so it was good to be able to visit that, especially when it started to rain. "Very nice place to stay. Food was fabulous both in the evening and breakfast. Only criticism is that it was a little worn out in the room. However the bathroom was excellent. "
