"Fabulous stay at Glen Chass Farmhouse! The ocean views, farm fields, sheep, cattle, pheasants and walking trails along with close proximity to town sold us (5 mature adults) on this property. "We had a fantastic time overall. The garden is large and stunning. The house is roomy and very comfortable. We were pleased to find there is a bath in the ensuite and a 3rd toilet downstairs as that wasn't clear from the listing. It would have been helpful to have instructions for appliances and remotes.There were also a few problems with one bedroom door hinge and the bedroom curtains were all difficult to open and close."

"Whilst it may feel a little dated and can be a little noisy in the evening, the facilities are good, and well kept. The beds were firm but comfortable and the pool & spa were very enjoyable. It’s also well positioned over the bay and within easy walk of the heart of Douglas. "

"Lovely place. We stayed with our small dog for a couple of nights. Facilities are amazing, golf, spa, swimming, gym, etc. Set in beautiful, peaceful grounds with easy access to Douglas (20 min drive) We had a 3 course meal in one of the restaurants and not only was the food amazing and very reasonably priced for the quality but it really felt like they went the extra mile... and were happy to. "The hotel was lovely, staff were all very friendly especially the cleaning staff, the room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. We booked a sea view room for the weekend from the pictures online thinking we would have seats looking out to the sea however the room simply had a high window, we could see the sea from it though! "My favourite hotel in Douglas and very near to everywhere I need to walk to for work. Friendly, lovely big rooms (they upgraded me free of charge to a huge room as I stay often). Great view over the sea front. Breakfast is quality - good ingredients, cooked to order. Very happy with everything."

"Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included.
